This is a reminder about the West Seattle Healing Circle, a Meetup group that I've created recently which is gathering tomorrow, October 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the High Point Library in West Seattle.
I originally learned about Health Kinesiology back when I lived in New Jersey and my friend Daria held a monthly healing circle event at our church. I have always loved learning about anything new related to alternative healing, so I was very excited to learn about this and experience it. After the circle, I was interested enough to become a client of hers, and then to ultimately train to do it myself.
I decided to create the Meetup group so that I could have a similar type of group, to introduce people to Health Kinesiology here in Seattle where, to my knowledge, no other practitioner is offering this particular type of kinesiology.
When I explain to a lot of people that I am a Health Kinesiologist, a very typical reply is "oh, you're doing Touch for Health" or "I know a kinesiologist who does exactly what you do." And I try to explain that while they may be similar in some ways, Health Kinesiology is not exactly the same as the other modalities they mention. It doesn't mean one way is better than another, just that HK is a very different way of doing this type of energy work than the others, and is the one that I happen to practice.
So, one of the reasons for offering this Healing Circle is to give people a sample of what Health Kinesiology is, and how it may differ from other things people have experienced.
There is no charge to attend the Circle, and I hope you will join us. For more information, please check out the group on Meetup.com and sign up there: West Seattle Healing Circle. I hope you'll be able to join us!
